Mission Partners

We partner with a number of local, national and international groups who are sharing the good news of Jesus in the areas they focus on.

AWM is about making disciples of Jesus Christ, seeing churches planted and transforming the Arab world. AWM focuses on people groups who have little opportunity to hear and understand the gospel, because 'We love Jesus, we love Arab people and we believe the global Church is the hope of the world'. AWM mobilises teams to glorify God among unreached peoples of the Arab world by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches.

The Carter Family

Christ Church have been supporting Andrew and Julie Carter and their four children since they headed out to Uganda in January 2015, financially and in prayer, so that Andrew can teach theology and the bible in the African Bible University in Kampala. The Carters are currently in the process of transferring to Thailand, where Andrew will be teaching in another Bible College. Andrew and Julie have five children: Edward, Isaac, Lydia, Carys and Judah.

  • We make no secret of the fact that ReadiFood is run and supported mainly by Christians
  • We are motivated by the knowledge that the poor were so strongly on the heart of Jesus when He was here on earth
  • Now He calls us as His followers to do as he did
  • We do not force our beliefs on others but do encourage people to consider the claims of Jesus
  • We try to make sure that every client gets a copy of the New Testament so that they can read for themselves about the goodness of God and the grace of Jesus towards them.

    John Featherstone - Powerline

John Featherstone is a gifted Christian singer-songwriter who uses music styles to the full to share the Gospel, whether it is charismatic ballads, dramatic choral works or singing solo along with his 7 string acoustic guitar. He and his wife, Mary, moved the family to France in 1990 to spread God's word in an increasingly non-Christian country and Powerline is the organisation that supports John so that he can continue his mission work throughout France as well as England and other countries in mainland Europe. See John's website here.

Yeldall Manor is a residential rehabilitation centre, set in 38 acres of Berkshire countryside near Wargrave, Reading. For over 30 years, we have been helping men to overcome serious drug or alcohol addictions and return to society to live new lives, drug, alcohol and crime free. We offer two consecutive programmes, lasting up to eleven months in total, followed by a year's support in the community.

The programmes combine work in the house and grounds with therapeutic groups and counselling. We are a Christian organisation and all our staff and volunteers are Christian. We believe that the best means of achieving rehabilitation is through discipleship to Jesus Christ. However, men do not have to be Christian to join the programme, and we never insist upon such a commitment. Click here for the Yeldall Website.
