We are people of all ages who want to know Jesus Christ better and tell others about Him.
We are a family of ordinary people, brought together by the conviction that the living God has revealed himself in Jesus Christ, and still speaks to us today through the Bible.
We meet at 10am and 6pm every Sunday and warmly welcome all those who wish to investigate Christianity and those who want to know how to keep on following Jesus.
We long to serve the people of Barkham and the wider area.
We are an evangelical church, and part of the Church of England
All of our previous sermons can be found here.
Get into the Christmas spirit with festive refreshments, wreath making and hearing something about the heart of Christmas.

Absolutely! Our doors are open to everyone, no matter what your beliefs, as we believe the good news of Jesus is for everyone.
We meet at 10am and 6pm at St James Church, Barkham, where we will sing, hear the Bible read, and have teaching on a passage. During the morning service, the children leave for age-appropriate groups with teaching, games, and more.
Children are very welcome and we have a full programme for 0-12 year olds during our 10am service. We are a family church, and expect some noise! Find out more here
Our meeting lasts around an hour and is followed by refreshments and an opportunity to chat with others.
No you will not be asked to give money. If you’d like to make a donation to the church, do speak to Julian, our Minister.
Feel free to participate in as much or as little as you would like. When we celebrate The Lord’s Supper there is no pressure to participate. We’d love if you stayed for refreshments after the service so we can introduce ourselves.
Barkham church is accessible for wheelchair uses and we have access to toilets at the nearby village hall. If you have any specific concerns or questions, do get in touch.
You can find a lot of information in the menus at the top of the page, such as who’s who, midweek groups, and our youth programmes. If you’re struggling to find what you’re looking for, do get in touch on email, or give us a call on 0118 976 0285.
