Rev Piers Bickersteth - Rector

Piers came to faith in Jesus whilst working in property development in Sydney in his 20s. After theological training in Sydney and Oxford, a curacy on Merseyside and 4 years working for the Proclamation Trust, Piers was appointed Rector of Arborfield and Barkham in 1998. Piers and his wife Carolyn have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Phil Rowlandson

Phil first started coming to Arborfield Church in 2014 before moving with the plant - Church@TheGreen - in 2017. He joined the staff team a year and a half later and is currently working toward ordination in the Church of England. Phil previously worked as a manager of a property management team for just under three years after gaining a Masters from the University of Reading. He's married to Heather and they have a son, Ezra.

James Carpenter - Elder

James has been a member of CTG since it formed in 2017 after moving from Arborfield Church. He lives in Arborfield Green with his wife Alyssa and three children. James works for a startup medical devices company. He enjoys good food and is (too!) fussy about his coffee.

Ed Clark - Elder

Ed joined Arborfield Church in 2016 before moving with the plant - Church@TheGreen - in 2017. In recent years he has contributed to CTG by playing the Piano and helping out with children's activities, and in January 2020 he joined the Church Eldership. Ed lives in Arborfield Green with his wife Kate and their two children, and he works as a Maths Teacher in Sonning.
